Global Partnerships for Sustainable Development - with Lucian Tarnowski

Lucian is Founding Curator and Executive Director of Civana, an open global society committed to working on humanity’s greatest challenges. Civana creates tools and resources for movements, communities, and multi-stakeholder initiatives to maximize their impact on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. Civana offers as a public good a community and collaboration platform purpose-built to achieve SDG 17 by increasing flows of knowledge, talent, and capital.

Lucian has a decade of experience in designing and powering online communities that connect diverse stakeholders around a shared purpose.  Lucian has been honoured as a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum. He has been an active attendee of Davos and other World Economic Forum meetings for many years. He continues to research and experiment around the social science behind communities, knowledge sharing and economic spaces.
