Ep. 262 Prof. Mmantsetsa Marope on the Future of Education

Prof. Mmantsetsa Marope has been a long time advocate for enhancing the global education. She stands out as a global thought leader on the Future of Education and Learning, her publications, speaking engagements, and convening power speak to her standing in the world.  A combined experience of 15years with UNESCO and the WORLD BANK show her dedication to drive change from an institutional perspective. She has been calling for the urgent transformation of education and learning systems into future-forward systems.

Enhancing the contribution of education to accelerated and shared growth, competitiveness and inclusive development; promoting holistic, balanced and sustainable education sector development and; catalyzing progress toward Education for All (EFA) goals, particularly in those areas that lag behind most such as: early childhood care and education; literacy and adult education; education quality and
relevance and; education equity and inclusion. Also focused on fostering private sector and emerging partnerships for the development of education throughout the world.
